Can’t beat the competition? Buy (squeeze) them out!

Giddily (publicly) ignoring its own Wall Street hiccup, Google plows full (Russian) steam ahead on its self-declared manifest destiny to “organize” (aka rule) the world’s information for the sole advantage of GOOG.

What is the “most relevant“ characterization of “The Organization, i.e., the Russian “mafia,“ or “mob“?

Google tells the world, via its more valuable than gold number one SERP ranking, that the Russian Mafia is affectionately called “The Organization” by its very own “members” as per the Web’s “encyclopedia,“ and Google’s preferred number one Google SERP redirect: Wikipedia.

Google’s favored Wikipedia also affirms that “The Organization” is “notorious” for “underground operation, secrecy and clean transactions.”

What other “organization,” famous for declaring its intent to obtain, archive, manipulate and, make (obscene amounts of) money off of the world, is famously clandestine in its operations and transactions? GOOGLE.

Googley private-jet flying, space-ship voyaging, multi-billionaire, Russia-born Sergey Brin is keen on commemorating fellow Russia-born notables with cutesy logos on the most valuable Web homepage in the world–Marc Chagall, Yury Gagarin–and has now green lighted his own Googley takeover of a big, controlling piece of Russian Web real estate: BEGUN @ $140 million.

Rumor has it that not only does Begun parent company Rambler share top search engine market share honors in Russia with Google, but Begun itself  is en route to “owning” the Russian online contextual ad market, boasting a 143,000 partner network and 40,000 advertiser accounts.

With some pegging the Russian cotextual ad market at $225 million, Google has efficiently bought out the competition and locked in dominance at pennies on the future Ruble. Any “Organization” would be impressed.
