Shocking! YouTube’s Google KNOWS What YOU Like to Watch!

By DONNA BOGATIN • Jul 3rd, 2008 • Category: BIG PICTURE

The blogosphere is in an Independence Day tizzy because of a purported “scary” development: Google’s deliberate, flagrant profiteering from routine copyright video theft perpetuated at its $1.6 billion YouTube property has resulted in the U.S. judicial system ordering an audit of the product that is actually being viewed thanks to the broadcast “yourself,” or anyone else, laissez-faire $170 billion market cap “business model” of the beloved Google.

The easy “outrage” of bloggers, and the Electronic Frontier Foundation, conveniently ignores the Googley truth that Google IS already watching what you watch.

Despite Mountain View’s success at fooling the world into believing that is a good deed when Google tracks, archives and analyses the every online move made by every inhabitant of the world, a review of the same by disinterested third parties for copyright verification purposes poses no greater risk than the harm inherently caused by Google’s own insatiable appetite to rule ALL the world’s “information.”
