Mainstream “trendy” media is determined to spin Internet Week New York for the benefit its own self-determined, Y chromosone gender-biased, party hopping dramatics.

The business reality of the Silicon Alley technology celebration kicked-off by Mayor Michael Bloomberg Monday evening at Gracie Mansion, however, is grounded in the down-to-earth objective laid out by the Mayor and put in immediate motion by the inaugural Internet Week lunch event I hosted on behalf of my StartupAlpha.com, a “Bootstrap Picnic in the Park” for early-stage ventures, technology entrepreneurs and:

First-time founders, small teams that want to express their original ideas through software and web-oriented technologies.

Mayor Bloomberg:

New York City is a center of innovation that offers unparalleled talent and ingenuity, but many smaller start-up companies have difficulty.

StartupAlpha.com’s pro-bono online tech community and offline alliance building events fills the critical void — a gap between the talent, innovation and ingenuity available in the City to make us a hub of internet development–with the mentoring and support required to create the next generation of Silicon Alley’s companies.

Tuesday afternoon, under the brilliantly sunny skies of Manhattan’s renowned Bryant Park, not a downtown disco ball was in sight, but creative technology ventures were plentiful in the heart of the Big Apple at my StartupAlpha.com “Bootstrap Workshop” on best practices and self-financing techniques for tech startups.

As Founder & CEO of StartupAlpha.com, I welcomed dozens of tri-state tech entrepreneurs–of both the male AND female variety–all convened to share sunshine and startup strategies while fostering collaboration and learning “How To Launch A Silicon Alley Startup For $198.“

Entrepreneur appreciation abounded for the FREE StartupAlpha.com opportunity to “connect with really talented and driven people“ and grow their ventures.

In 1997, I created the first Internet For Entrepreneurs Workshop in New York City, on behalf of the SCORE division of the Small Business Administration and I have been steadfastly championing Silicon Alley since.

WELCOME ALL TECH STARTUPS AND ENTREPRENEURS TO THE STARTUPALPHA.COM COMMUNITY!
