Mark Zuckerberg vs. Google: Facebook Loses Ad Sales Smackdown

One year ago, the youngster Facebook CEO put Google on notice when he unveiled Facebook Platform to the world:
Zuckerberg: We’re the sixth most trafficked site in the U.S…we recently passed eBay in traffic and we’re working on passing Google too.
Since then, the Google billionaires and company–real ones, not the paper kind–have publicly pleaded for Zuckerberg to let his Facebook profiles go, wild in the Google rules Web world:
Marissa Mayer: Google ought to be able to “easily crawl and index Facebook so that people will more seamlessly search for content in social networking platforms.”
RIGHT! Just like Google AdSense partners OUGHT TO BE ABLE to know what their commissions are AND Google AdWords customers OUGHT TO BE ABLE TO transact business in a transparent, fair marketplace.
Google Open Social to the who needs Facebook rescue? How about Google Friend Connect? NO! and NO!
Zuckerberg: WE’VE HAD TO SUSPEND GOOGLE’S ACCESS TO FACEBOOK USER INFORMATION
Mark Zuckerberg is NOT so who needs Google principled, after all, however.
Just as Barry Diller eats his competitor Google mocking words by pocketing short-term Googley Ask.com cash that nevertheless sells IAC shareholders short in the long run, the Facebook commander-in-chief turns to number one target Google for help in achieivng ever elusive Faceboook monetization.
Google doubles down in its winnings, against Facebook, however, as GOOG self-deals itself the typical Google AdWords “auction“ win.
Not only does GOOG pocket Facebook cash as Mark Zuckerberg is compelled to fork over big AdWords bucks (see StartupAlpha.com captured screenshot at top of story) to sell his Web “product,” same as every single non-$15 billion paper valued Website feels it must, GOOG then rigs its own third-party auction for the already high-cost “advertising” keyword, by shrewdly driving Zuckerberg to highest bidder “honors,” but then stiffing him by BLOCKING TOP FACEBOOK AD WORDS PLACEMENT IN FAVOR OF A FREEBIE “HOUSE” GOOGLE AD FOR ADWORDS, AGAINST FACEBOOK SOCIAL ADS!
Ironic: the vaunted number one “Social Utility” is trumped by an “anti-social” monopoly loving number one search engine.
