Google Sets Sites On Web Monopoly: ‘Bribes’ Consumers

By DONNA BOGATIN • May 22nd, 2008 • Category: BIG PICTURE

Yesterday, I was the lone blogger voice in signaling Microsoft’s POWER Cashback move, while pointing out an out-of-whack blogosphere that cheers Google free service giveaways, but pillories Microsoft for doing same.

Today, my hypothesis has been confirmed: The same blogosphere that ridiculed and vilified Microsoft on Wednesday for supposedly “bribing” consumers because it facilitates consumer-friendly ecommerce promotional offers, now crowns Google for purportedly setting the Web free once again, simply because its multi-billion dollar global server farm build-out is put to the non-paying service of entry-level, template Web sites, aka Google Sites.

Gmail, Google Sites, Google Friend Connect, Google Apps, Blogger, Feedburner, Grand Central, YouTube, Google Anayltics…GOOGLE BRIBERY! According to bloggers’ who needs Microsoft Cashback ”bribery” rationale.

NOW, DUTIFULLY PLEDGE WORLD WIDE WEB ALLEGIANCE TO GOOGLE, GOOG, AN INTERNET POWERED BY GOOOOOOOOOGLE ADS AND A CLOUD OWNED, CONTROLLED AND MANIPULATED BY GOOGLE.
