By DONNA BOGATIN • May 17th, 2008 • Category: BIG PICTUREGoogle is the Web’s God! Just ask Jeff Jarvis, or observe the behavior of Internet CEOs, Jerry Yang and Marc Andreessen, for big example.
Jerry Yang apparently believes a mutually beneficial, warm, financial embrace from number two competitor Microsoft is more evil than an underhanded maneuver by number-one competitor Google to cripple the owner of the Web’s first paid search engine.

Marc Andreessen apparently does not have the wherewithal to develop his own advertising platform for his $100 million VC backed Ning social networking platform, and turns to Google for “monetization,” just as hobby blogs do. Andreessen even penned a public love letter to Google Friend Connect, a direct Ning killer competitor.

Still wet around the CEO ears Mark Zuckerberg, however, is not only competing against Google, but loud and proud stands up against Google, WITH THE GOAL OF HIS FACEBOOK DISPLACING GOOGLE, as the number one Web company!
